Camp FOUR ~ Rider Level Camp

THIS IS THE CAMP FOR RIDER-LEVEL CERTIFICATIONS OF LEVELS ONE AND/OR TWO.
Based on the Equine Canada English Learn to Ride Program this camp will include prep for readying yourself for your Written, Ridden, and Practical Horse Knowledge Evaluation. Geared for the novice rider already mastering w/t/c and jumping a small course. A great camp for those who want to achieve their rider levels in the nationally accredited program by Equestrian Canada.
The riding components of this camp include – mounting and dismounting – tack adjustment – rider Position – transitions and diagonals – practice doing figures and movements needed for the testing. Covering both flat and jumping components for each level. Including jumping positions – releases and control and straightness through a gymnastic and a suitable level height for a hunter course (no more than 18″).
Monday to Friday, riding every day in a group lesson, and an intensive week of learning and study.
The week includes quizzes, contests, and team activities. Learn your parts of horse, tack and blanketing, some basic horse care knowledge, and safety requirements. This camp is fun, with team building and for the achievement of confidence to try for your Rider Level Certification on the last day of camp. Any campers who do not feel ready for testing can schedule it for another day in the future.
Greyden will supply the approved Learn-to-Ride evaluator with the evaluation fee of $50 per rider in addition to your camp fee. In addition, all campers must have a current Ontario Equestrian Membership, and must have in their possession the Level 1/2 Rider Level Manual, which can be ordered through Ontario Equestrian, here.
Fee $500.00 + hst plus $50 examination fee on the day of examination, payable to the examiner on the last day of camp. Registration required beginning March 1, 2022 in order to reserve your spot. $50 cancellation fee.
